One thing is clear: risk of confusion!

One thing is clear: risk of confusion!

Poppers or ginger shot – that’s the question! To avoid any confusion, today we explain the differences between Poppers bottles and conventional small soft drinks or shot bottles. Please be especially careful when you have the small bottle in your hand.

1. check design and logo

The first thing you should do is take a quick look at the bottles and check the logo. The Poppers labels are quite unique in their design, with clear, bright colors and eye-catching lettering. This is fully intentional so that you quickly recognize what it is.

2. observe the warning symbols on the back

If you then turn the bottle a little, you will also discover the red-bordered diamonds of the hazard pictogram on the back. This contains important information about the type of contents of your favorite brand as well as important dangers and safety instructions. We have written a more detailed explanation of this here on our website. Why not also try a Poppers with other ingredients from our store, because there is still a lot to discover here! We also play it safe when it comes to ingredients: we only offer Poppers with the 3 ingredients that we classify as less harmful to health.

3. remove the protective film and cover

Now for the last check before we get started: Poppers bottles are not that easy to open – and for good reason. First of all, you have to loosen the safety sleeve that firmly encloses the lid at the perforation lines. We fully intend for this to be a bit of a hassle (but the anticipation of unpacking is, as we all know, a great pleasure). On the sleeve of the lid you can see another sign of safety and good quality: the original Lockerroom logo. Once the plastic sleeve is finally removed, you can open the bottle with the screw cap. Made it! And now have fun!

4. store safely and prevent mix-ups

After use, you should of course close the lid tightly so that none of the good aroma can escape into the air. Instead of the fridge, you should always store your Poppers in light-protected packaging (Tupperware, zipper bag, cardboard box, etc.) at an ambient temperature of around 12 – 15 °Celsius. This also prevents confusion with the healthy ginger shot that you might like to take out of the fridge in the evening! You can find more information about storing Poppers here on our website. Because under no circumstances should you drink Poppers! This can lead to severe chemical burns!

5th bonus tip for spontaneous visits

And by the way: a little preparation can’t hurt. You can even remove the sleeve before the announced visitor arrives. You never know … opening a good bottle of wine as a precaution has proven its worth often enough!
