AGS 2025 in Biberist

AGS 2025: Celebrating Gear, Community, and the Joy of Using Poppers Safely

On February 15, 2025, the Alpha Gear Society (AGS) hosted its first gear-focused event in Biberist, Switzerland. Around 300 participants from the DACH region and even a few guests from the U.S. came together to dance, socialize, and explore their fetishes in a supportive atmosphere. For us at Poppers-Online, this event marked a special milestone as we were there with our very first booth—after 11 years in the Poppers business. Our mission is to break down taboos surrounding Poppers and to support and educate the community.

Why We Were There

Since our inception, our goal at Poppers-Online has been to demystify poppers and ensure that everyone interested receives reliable and well-informed information. Whether someone is trying Poppers for the first time or is an experienced user, we want to offer the right products and the necessary guidance to make their experience safe and enjoyable. Direct interaction with our customers—rather than just online—has given us the opportunity to share our expertise and answer questions right on the spot.

Our presence at the AGS event showed that we’re more than just an online store: We’re partners on the path to a fulfilling sex life. Events like AGS help us stay connected with the real-world community—whether it’s in the rubber scene, MX gear, sneaker culture, pup play, or other gear fetishes. In short: We were there to show that we support you—without judgment, but with honest and open advice for the safe and enjoyable use of Poppers.

Inside the First Alpha Gear Society Experience

Organized by Gear Hub Switzerland, the first edition of AGS offered a diverse range of experiences catering to a wide variety of fetishes and gear styles. Between the dance floor, lit up by pulsating DJ sets, and the two bar areas, attendees had plenty of opportunity to mingle, enjoy drinks, and admire each other’s outfits. The atmosphere was both energetic and relaxed—perfect for both hardcore gear fans and the curious.

A darkroom offered private spaces for those who wanted a more intimate setting or simply needed a break from the crowd. There was also a “puppy zone,” a motocross zone with real motorcycles, and a SWAT zone for tactical role-playing—each area was designed to let participants immerse themselves in their respective fetishes or discover something new.

Amid all the dancing and socializing, gear wasn’t just clothing—it was identity. AGS provided an environment where people could experiment and figure out what felt authentic—without having to wonder if they were “gear enough.” Rubber suits, MX pants, puppy hoods, sneakers, helmets—everyone celebrated together what gear meant to them. This openness gave the event an electrifying atmosphere that was unique to us and made the first edition an instant success for the Swiss community.

Our Booth, Our Thanks

We set up our booth in the event’s entrance area with two glass display cases showcasing our latest Poppers and accessories, and we set up a tasting corner where visitors could try products like Hard F*CK Poppers and XTRM Biest. It was also exciting for us to see how many attendees—whether poppers newcomers or longtime fans and customers of Poppers-Online—stopped by to learn more and treat themselves to a little sample. Some fans stopped by our booth X times for a sample.

We placed special emphasis on explaining ingredients, usage tips, accessories, and potential side effects, so that everyone left the booth with more knowledge and confidence.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who visited us! Your interest, your feedback, and your enthusiasm made our first in-person trade show experience unforgettable. A big shout-out also to the AGS team, who showed great courage in putting together a new event format. Bringing together 300 people with such diverse interests under one roof was an incredible achievement!

The Vibe from SoxGuys

One highlight was the feedback from fetish influencers, such as the SoxGuys, who shared their experiences. They said they were a little nervous before the event—were they “geared up enough”? But those concerns vanished the moment they walked into the venue. The atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming, and the age range was broad (18–60 years old). Whether at the bar, on the dance floor in rubber or MX gear, or in the play zones—everyone found their place.

SoxGuys reported that it was easy to strike up a conversation, flirt, or take things further when the moment was right. The side room had “full Berlin vibes” with five play zones that really came to life after midnight. In their opinion, it was a safe, sex-positive space that was both steamy and extremely social. The SoxGuys also tried out some Poppers at our booth—need we say more?

Looking Forward

If you missed the first AGS event—keep an eye out for the next one! Imagine an open, fetish-friendly event where you can dance, meet new people, and express yourself—all while learning more about the safe use of Poppers.

At Poppers-Online, we remain your trusted partner for Poppers, whether you’re a newcomer or an experienced user. If our booth at AGS demonstrated anything, it’s that there’s a real need for honest, practical education. If you have any questions—we’re here, together with community organizations like Swiss Gay Fetish (SGF) and DrGay.ch, to support you.

Until next time—feel free to discover yourself!
